Lyra. If there's anyone Silver has ever met who he'd consider a genuine pest, it would have to be Lyra.
She's everywhere that he goes, getting underfoot. Maybe it's only a coincidence, but it still grates on Silver's nerves.
The more that their paths cross, though, the more that Silver finds himself developing a reluctant respect for Lyra. The girl's got guts, as her attempt to infiltrate Team Rocket's base in Mahogany Town shows; it makes him feel somewhat guilty for having accidentally exposed her as a fraud. And she seems to be a good Pokémon Trainer; at least, her Pokémon seem to be happier with her than Silver's are with him. Maybe he can learn something from her; maybe she can help him to be a better Trainer, and even a better person.
Okay, so Lyra's a pest. But maybe not as much of one as Silver first believed.

Nights like this are the kind that Peter lives for: When every note seems to sing for itself, bringing everyone together beautifully.

Surprised isn't exactly an apt description of what you're feeling right now. Flabbergasted, confused, shocked...any one of those would be far more accurate.
You're also strangely intrigued. This N person...what kind of person is he, anyway? He seems sincere enough; that much, you know unquestioningly. It sounds like N believes completely in the things that he's telling you.
But to tell you that you've been chosen...chosen for what? To be the antagonist in this strange little fairy tale that N is so determined to live up to? The other side of some bizarre game of Chess that you never agreed to be a part of?
Surprised? Not by a long shot. That doesn't even begin to cover the complex range of emotions that suddenly threaten to inundate you.
Whatever else you feel, the eerie sensation remains that there's a target on your back. Eyes, many pairs of eyes, are suddenly on you now.

No matter how frequently your quest takes you down into the Depths far beneath Hyrule, the pure ocean of darkness is something that you're never quite able to adjust to. Wave upon wave of absolute black, the Depths seem determined to drown you.
The Lightroots help to at least cast the Depths into a gloom not unlike being beneath a full moon; but they still do little to lessen how unnerved you are. It might be easier to see once you've activated them, but the unfamiliarity of all that you see remains eerie.
As for the fact that you've found life down here, life that's somehow managed to adapt to such an environment, is somehow less than comforting.
