Summary: The slightest noise might give away their position and their plan.
This was it: Their only chance. The one opportunity they would have. It couldn’t be allowed to go to waste.
Slowly, their weapons primed and ready, they crept through the corridors on tiptoe. The slightest noise might give away their position and their plan. It was vital that their victims not suspect that they were approaching.
One last corner to round, and then...
Amy blocked their path, a large water gun in both hands as she smirked.
“Drop them,” River’s voice purred from behind the pair.
Slowly, the Doctor and Rory lowered their water balloons, before straightening and putting their hands up.
“You knew, all along, didn’t you,” the Doctor sighed, feeling the barrel of River’s water pistol digging into his back.
“Of course we knew,” Amy snorted. “We’re women. We always know when our idiot husbands are up to no good.”
River stepped around to join her, her eyes twinkling. “Not that we didn’t have a little helping hand from the TARDIS,” she added. “We females have to stick together.”
Rory cleared his throat. “I’d really like to point out that that would be cheating. But I won’t,” he quickly amended as both water guns were trained on him.
